Victoria is experiencing an alarming reduction in breast screenings. First through budget cuts to health, then ongoing government COVID lockdowns and now, the refusal by the Andrews Government to properly fund screening services.

As a result, 49,000 Victorians who would ordinarily be able to receive a breast screening were initially not able to do so.

The Andrews Government has admitted in State Parliamentary committee hearings that its decision not to fully fund screening services means 29,000 Victorians will now miss out.

I believe no Victorian should miss out on this potentially lifesaving service. No Victorian.

Victorian Liberal Leader, Michael O’Brien and I are calling on 29,000 residents in the Croydon District to sign our Parliamentary petition and call on the Andrews Government to reverse the budget cuts to women’s health.

Please stand with us to call out these cuts to women’s health.
